KINKUO ELECTRONICS CO., LTD has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management system. The certification covers the design, manufacture and supply of industrial connectors and custom cable assemblies from our Dongguan facility.
What ISO 9001:2015 certification confirms
ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard for quality management systems. Certification involves an independent audit of how a business controls its processes — from supplier qualification and incoming inspection through production, testing and corrective action.
For customers, the practical value is consistency. A certified system means that the way a batch was produced yesterday is documented, repeatable and auditable, which is what allows a validated design to stay valid over a long production life.
What it changes for us
Much of what the standard requires was already part of how we worked: in-process inspection at every station, documented test reports with every shipment, qualified suppliers and retained material certificates. The certification process formalised those practices into a documented system with defined responsibilities, review cycles and corrective-action procedures.
It also strengthened two areas that matter to customers with their own quality obligations. Change control is now documented, so a customer with a validated design is notified before anything affects it. And non-conformance handling has a defined route, which shortens the time between identifying a problem and implementing a fix.
What it means for customers
If your own quality system requires supplier audits, documented process control or traceability records, ISO 9001:2015 certification simplifies supplier qualification and reduces the documentation burden on your side.
The certificate is available on request, along with material declarations, test reports and process documentation for specific part numbers.
Continuing investment
Certification is a starting point rather than a destination. Our in-house laboratory continues to invest in test capability — TDR impedance analysis, Hi-Pot and insulation resistance testing, insertion and withdrawal force measurement — and customer feedback feeds directly into process improvement.
Most of the refinements in our cable constructions over the years began as a field observation from a customer. That loop is now part of the documented system rather than something that happens informally.
